JÄGALA WATERFALL

The waterfall is nearly 8 metres high and more than 50 metres wide. This is the widest natural waterfall in Estonia. The waterfall is also spectacular in winter, when the frozen water mass turns into a shimmering wall of ice with large icicles.

TAJU RESTO

Taju is located by the sea, in a 300-year-old farm complex of scenic natural beauty. The courtyard area, with its outdoor kitchen and terraces, is located on different levels of the seaside terrace, embellished by beds of grasses and perennial flowers. During the summer season, Taju Resto is only open for special events organised in collaboration with guest chefs. Every day, we welcome guests to explore Taju’s trails and take part in our picnic experience.

OBI STABLE

Obi stable is a tiny limestone building with 7 rooms, built in 1926. The stable was renovated again in 2016 and we now organise children’s birthday parties and rent out spaces for horses. For those who wish, we can put a horse in front of a carriage or sleigh for a fun ride and take a trip into the forest or along Jägala River, and we can also use a well-lit sandy area for horse riding.

Ajaveski

MTÜ Ajaveski is a voluntary non-profit organisation of people interested in national culture and art, which operates on the principles of cultural education and sustainable development and acts in the public interest. Our premises host a variety of workshops for young and old alike. We organise all kinds of birthday parties and events and provide an inspiring environment for training and meetings.

KOSTIVERE CULTURE MANOR

Kostivere Culture Manor is a subordinate institution of the Culture Centre of Jõelähtme Parish, which hosts a dozen recreational groups and numerous cultural events. Many events have become traditional and several of them are regional. The rooms are often used for the local school’s events, as well as for various meetings, seminars, etc. and are rented out for special occasions.

LOO SECONDARY SCHOOL

The school is located in the Loo district. There are many exciting hobby groups and events throughout the school year. Loo School is part of the Health Promoting Schools network, which aims to promote healthy lifestyles and safe social and physical environments in schools and communities.

JÕELÄHTME SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND ART

The school aims to provide basic education in music and arts and to prepare students for professional studies. It also develops students’ creativity and supports their development, independence, autonomy and initiative.

LASNAMÄE PRIMARY SCHOOL

The school’s mission is to ensure that every student’s learning journey meets their potential. The school provides students with various necessary support services. There is also a large selection of exciting hobby groups at the school.

MAARDU SECONDARY SCHOOL

Maardu Secondary School is a Russian school, which consists of three parts: traditional classes with Russian as the language of instruction, language immersion classes and evening school (in Estonian and Russian). At our school, we value the individuality of our students and support their development.

MAARDU SCHOOL OF ARTS

The current school has evolved from Maardu Music School, founded in 1989. At that time the school was located in the building of Maardu Secondary School. Maardu School of Arts offers music (classical, jazz, singing, choir) and art studies (drawing, painting) for all ages.

KALLAVERE SECONDARY SCHOOL

The mission of the school is to create opportunities to support the development of each student and member of the school family; to shape values and readiness for independent life, considering individual abilities; to continue to provide education in Estonian as a basic education school in the city of Maardu; to be a centre of education and community in Estonian in the multicultural environment of the city of Maardu.
